A2B's
founders have different backgrounds, but a common enthusiasm for the
possibilities that
Location-Based Services can enable.
Sam
Critchley
Sam studied French and Philosophy
at the University of London. Whilst at university he fostered an
interest in the then-nascent Internet. Upon graduation in 1996, he went
to work for an ISP in Cambridge, where he learned the technical skills
necessary to run a large Internet network. Sam is an expert in Internet
routing protocols, and has written proposed standards for measuring
packet reordering and a DHCP option for Location-Based Services. Sam
was born in Scotland, and now lives on a boat in Amsterdam.
Christian
Vandendorpe
Chris studied Computer Science at
Queen's University in Ontario, Canada. Upon graduation, he began
developing software for the Windows platform. Since then, he has
expanded to developing for Palm OS, PocketPC, Microsoft Smartphone and
Symbian operating systems. Chris' company, Tinystocks, has released
award-winning software for each of these platforms, including
well-known programs such as Stock Manager and Weather Manager. Chris
manages to combine being Canadian, Spanish and French with living in
Amsterdam and working in English.
